Apple Ipad Price
The new iPad was released on March 7, 2012, but users were able to buy this new gadget only from March 16, meaning from yesterday. Having said that, we cannot be otherwise than extremely curious about the prices of this new toy.
First of all we have to say that this device comes with several different new things, when compared to the iPad 2, released in 2011. For example, it has a better Retina display, a 5.0 MP iSight camera, which did not exist in the case of the iPad 2 and also uses the ultrafast 4G LTE network standards. On Apple.com, the Store section, we are told from the very beginning the starting price of the new iPad is $499. However, in this phase, it is not mentioned what is the storage capacity and also the network connections in this case. But we can imagine we are talking about the 16 GB version of the new iPad, which uses only Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet, not 4G, which will obviously increase the price very much.

You have two possibilities of buying an iPad directly from Apple; either you buy it online or visit an Apple Retail Store. Let's say you select the first option. Like in all other cases, the first thing you have to consider is to choose a color (the only available colors are black and white) and then a model (Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 4G). Now the separation begins; users can select a 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB version, all these products having different prices.
Apple Ipad Price (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
Let's say you want to connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi and you're not interested in a 4G connection, because you don't have a network in your region that can provide you with very fast 4G cellular data. The 16 GB version of the new iPad is $499, as we have expected when finding the price of the cheapest iPad. The 32 GB version is $599 and the 64 GB one, $699. When it comes to Wi-Fi + 4G, the prices are a bit higher. The 16 GB version is $629, the 32 GB iPad is $729 and the 64 GB, $829.
The difference between purchasing an iPad online and buying it directly from an Apple Retail Store is that you will wait about 2-3 weeks until you will be able to touch your new iPad. When going to an Apple Retail Store, you can return home with an iPad after an hour or two of discussions with an Apple representative. Purchasing an iPad online is a good solution for those that live in an area where there is no Apple Retail Store to buy Apple products from. In fact, in this case buying an Apple product from the site of this developer is among the very few solutions. Other solutions would be to buy from huge retailers, such as Amazon or Walmart.
Compare Tablet Pcs
An electronic device is better presented when compared to another device included in the same range; for example, if you want to see what are the characteristics of the Motorola Droid X smartphone, you can mention them when making the comparison between this phone and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. What I want to say is that you cannot compare the Droid X to a PlayStation 3, because they are not designed for the same purpose; one is a smartphone and another one is a gaming console. This is why for this article, we have selected to compare only Android tablets. They are the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 2228-2EU Internet tablet and the Toshiba Excite AT205-T16 tablet.
Price
Compare Tablet Pcs (Source: images.highspeedbackbone.net)
This is a very important component of every product, whether you buy it online or in-store, and must not be neglected, not even by those who are willing to pay whatever it costs to get an Android tablet. You need to know that you can get very powerful devices for low prices too; so stop investing money in something that is not worth it and buy only what specialists recommend. The Lenovo product is $197.96 and the Toshiba gadget, $529.99. At a first glance, you will be tempted to say that you are attracted to the first product and that the second one is more advanced technologically because it has a much higher price. In the next paragraphs, we will see if this is true.
Operating system
The Lenovo IdeaPad A1 uses Android 2.3, while the Toshiba gadget, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, which is upgradable to Android 4.0, the newest version of the Android OS.

Screen size
In general, an Internet tablet has a small screen size. This is the case of the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 too, which has 7 inches in diagonal. Toshiba has preferred to go directly to the big league with their 10.1 inch Excite AT205-T16 tablet. This is the component that differentiates one tablet from another. There are users who simply cannot stand the 7 inch devices, but there are others which believe a 7 inch tablet is much more suitable for long trips, so it all the depends on what the user wants.

Central processing unit
The Lenovo gadget uses an A8 Cortex processor and the Toshiba Excite, a TI OMAP 4430 processor.
Storage capacity
This depends very much on the tablet model; the models we have selected for this article have both of them a capacity of 16 GB.
Memory capacity
Regarding the memory capacity, the Toshiba Excite is better, for having a capacity of 1 GB. The Lenovo IdeaPad A1 uses half of this capacity.

Features
Among the features presented by Lenovo in the case of the IdeaPad A1, we have: Wi-Fi, integrated speakers, Bluetooth, touchscreen, camera and a card reader. In the case of the Toshiba tablet, we have: a touchscreen, GPS, headphone jack, Wi-Fi, integrated speakers, a card reader, camera and Bluetooth.
Coby Tablet Pc
Coby is a famous electronics manufacturer in the United States; one of the products that has made this company famous is the Coby Kyros Internet tablet. This one comes in multiple versions, the one we have selected for today being the tablet that has 8 inches in diagonal and 4 GB of storage. It is $344.99 on TigerDirect.com.
This is a rather unusual tablet computer, because of its screen size. It has 8 inches in a world full of 10.1 and 7 inch tablets. But not only this makes the Coby Kyros a unique product, but also its integrated Flash memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB with microSDHC cards, its integrated microphone and front facing camera, the possibility of reading the operating system menu in languages like: traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese and other languages and also of downloading thousands of applications from the AppsLibs marketplace.

Now related to the warranty, we have to say that Coby offers one year warranty for a specific category of electronics, among which we can also include tablets. Other electronics for which Coby provides the same warranty are: headphones/earphones, microphones, cellular accessories and cables. All other Coby products will receive a warranty of 90 days. A good idea would be to enter the site provided earlier and check for return policy details.
Compare Tablet Pc
We have thought for today to compare 3 Android tablet computers. All of them are powerful, popular and destined to individuals and businessmen alike. We have preferred to choose only Android-based tablets, because we believe a comparison between the iPad, that runs the iOS and other Android tablets is not really a comparison, since they are so different. So we have chosen the ViewSonic's ViewPad 10pro tablet, the Arnova 10 G2, manufactured by Archos and the Asus TF101 Eee Pad Transformer.
Price
Compare Tablet Pc (Source: images.highspeedbackbone.net)
We start with the most important component, as some call it, of these tablets, a feature that can make the difference between them. The ViewSonic tablet is $699.99, the Archos gadget is $189.99 and the one manufactured by Asus is $399.99. Taking into account these prices, you can say that you are interested in the Archos product and less interested in the ViewPad 10pro. Before judging this too early, we invite you to learn more about these products.
Operating system
This is another important component, even though it is not included in the Hardware segment, but in the Software one. ViewSonic has preferred to use for their ViewPad 10pro 2 operating systems: Windows 7 Professional, normally used on personal computers and Android (its version is different from model to model, but in general, ViewSonic prefers to use the latest operating system version). Do you understand now why the ViewSonic's gadget is sold for that price? The Arnova 10 G2 uses Android 2.3 and Asus, Android 3.0.
Compare Tablet Pc (Source: images.highspeedbackbone.net)
Screen size
We cannot say who is better at this chapter, because all of them have a screen size of 10.1 inches.
Storage capacity
There are some differences between the products we have chosen for this comparison. As expected, the ViewPad 10pro is the best in this case again, having a storage capacity of 32 GB. The cheapest tablet has a capacity of only 4 GB, but offers users the possibility of upgrading it, thanks to the use of micro SD and micro SDHC cards. The Acer gadget has a capacity of 16 GB and offers the same possibility of using a micro SD card. Don't imagine that if the ViewSonic tablet has already a capacity of 32 GB, it doesn't have a micro SD card slot, because it actually has.
Central processing unit
Compare Tablet Pc (Source: images.highspeedbackbone.net)
Being a mix between a tablet and a netbook, the ViewPad 10pro tablet uses the Intel Atom Z670 processor, normally used on personal computers. The Arnova gadget uses an ARM Cortex processor and Asus, an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.
Conclusion
There are many other things that need to be mentioned, however the most important ones were named in here. The main idea is that when manufacturers like these ones, which are famous and trustworthy, establish a specific price for their electronics, the price reflects the reality. In our case, the most powerful tablet computer from the ones we have selected here is the ViewPad 10pro, followed by the Asus tablet and the Arnova 10 G2.
Very Cheap Tablet Pc
A very cheap tablet computer is the one released by Le Pan, namely the Le Pan TC 970 multitouch Android tablet, sold for $199.99. Even though this is not a very popular tablet in the United States, being exceeded by the iPad and other Android tablets, it is worth our attention, because it has been rated as being a very good tablet computer by those that have bought it.
It has a screen size of 9.7 inches, is powered by the ARM Cortex A8 1.0 GHz processor, runs Android 2.2 and allows you to enjoy your favorite multimedia files on the go and never worry about running out of energy, because its lithium battery can provide up to 7 hours of runtime.

The storage capacity, however, is not a strong point of this tablet, because it has only 2 GB. The good thing comes when we hear that this tablet has integrated a micro SD card slot, which allows users to insert a micro SD card, that can increase the storage capacity up to 32 GB.
Very Cheap Tablet Pc (Source: images.highspeedbackbone.net)
Another chapter, which is not represented that well is the memory capacity, which is of only 512 MB. But this is the amount of memory stored in the iPad too, so we should not look at this as to a shortcoming. However, when compared to other Android tablets that have 1 GB, this memory capacity definitely needs to be improved.

The dimensions of the Le Pan TC 970 multitouch tablet are: 9.29 x 7.44 x 0.48′ and its weight is of 1.6 lbs.
The manufacturer offers 12 months warranty for parts and 12 months for labor. You can contact their support representatives by calling them at 1-855-537-26724 or by accessing lepantab.com.
This product is so great that you will buy one for every member of your family, because like one of its purchasers said, ‘has all the bells and whistles’ you could want.
Compare Samsung Galaxy Tab Data Plans
The Samsung Galaxy Tab can use Wireless signals from many companies in the United States, the most important ones being: Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. We will discuss about each category.
Galaxy Tab data plans from Verizon Wireless
This company offers mobile broadband plans for tablets/netbooks and also for electronic devices that use an USB modem or a dedicated mobile hotspot. For using 2 GB of data per month, users will pay $30, for 5 GB, $50 and for 10 GB, $80. This is available in case you don't use a dedicated mobile hotspot, because if you do, you have these choices: 5 GB for $50 per month and 10 GB for $80 per month.
Compare Samsung Galaxy Tab Data Plans (Source: techstuffs4u.com)
This company also offers prepaid mobile broadband plans, that are similar to those presented earlier, only that in this case, you pay as you go. So, for 1 GB, you will pay $20 per month, for 2 GB – $30, for 5 GB – $50 and for 10 GB – $80. There are no reconnection fees and no overage charges. These tablet plans are not available on all tablets, so before buying your Samsung device, be sure that you understand how much are you going to pay month after month.
Galaxy Tab data plans from AT&T
With AT&T, things are a little bit more complicated. It is mentioned from the beginning that you will benefit of a 2-year contract, with convenient monthly bills and no activation fees. For 3 GB per month, users will pay $35 and $10 more for every GB they consume in addition. If they want 5 GB, the cost is $50; the overage fee is again $10.
Compare Samsung Galaxy Tab Data Plans (Source: geek.com)
But AT&T offers something else, in addition to what other companies offer and this thing is represented by the no-commitment data plans. These are similar to those presented earlier, don't request users to pay an activation fee and guarantee convenient monthly bills. The difference is that with this type of plan, users can buy lower amounts of traffic. For example, for $14.99 per month, you can buy 250 MB of data; in this case, the overage fee is of $14.99 for every 250 MB. If you desire 3 GB, you will pay $30, and also $10 per GB, for exceeding this limit. And for 5 GB, you will pay $50 ($10/GB – overage fee).
AT&T offers also other types of plans, such as DataConnect Pass Prepaid plans and DataConnect Global Pass plans, about which you can read more on wireless.att.com.
Galaxy Tab data plans from T-Mobile
Compare Samsung Galaxy Tab Data Plans (Source: mygreatphone.com)
With T-Mobile, things are simpler again. From this company, you can buy a classic overage-free plus data plan, that offers you 2 GB per month for the price of $39.99. For $49.99, you can get 5 GB, thanks to the classic overage-free premium data plan. Other plan recommended by this company and also by us is the classic overage-free ultra (10 GB), for which you have to pay $79.99 per month. However, T-Mobile offers prepaid mobile broadband plans, that work for a week or month. More information on t-mobile.com.
Apple Ipad Keyboard
Are you looking for an iPad keyboard? Have you searched for this on Apple.com? Because this should be the first place to search for an Apple accessory? Luckily for you, Apple sells plenty of accessories designed for their products and you don't have to check another manufacturer in order to see if their product has same quality as an Apple product.
Apple Ipad Keyboard (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
Apple does not only offer great iPad keyboards, but these are also designed taking into consideration your culture. So if you are a Russian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Arabian, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Belgian, Danish, Swedish, Italian, Swiss, English, you will receive specific keyboards that contain all common symbols and elements included in your language. Keyboards like this are $69. Apple sells also an HiPPiH iEagle Foldable Wireless keyboard ($99.95), about which we will discuss a bit later.
Apple Ipad Keyboard (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
Now, I want to to focus on the characteristics of the completely cable-free Apple Wireless keyboard that uses Bluetooth to connect to your iPad or MacBook. This means that you have total freedom of movement and don't need to worry anymore about the range within which you have to remain in order to be able to use that keyboard with your iPad, for example. Being a Wireless product, it requires battery; in this case you need 2 AA batteries, that are provided by the manufacturer also. In the box, besides the Wireless keyboard and the batteries, you will find printed documentation regarding this product. If you have a MacBook and also an iPad, you need to know that some function keys designed for use on the MacBook will not function with the iPad and vice versa.
And now let's say a few words about the foldable Wireless keyboard. This iEagle keyboard is a full-size Bluetooth keyboard for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. If you have a MacBook as well, you are free to use it with it, because most controls that work with the iPad will work also with Mac. However, this is a product destined more for portable device users. It was built with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch in mind, this is why it is foldable. It comes inside of a protective carrying pouch and has even an integrated stand for iPhone and iPod Touch. Just like the previous product, this one too uses batteries. In this case, you need 2 AAA batteries.
The Apple Ipad
What more can be said about the Apple iPad? We already know everything that is to be known about this amazing electronic device. We know about its characteristics, the opinions of those that have bought this product since its release in 2011 until now (March 2012), we know about its faults and believe we know also what are the features that have to be improved. But what we really don't know is what is the warranty offered by Apple for this product. Today, we are going to investigate this more accurately. For this, we have taken as source of inspiration the Apple site itself.
You can access this information too, but only if you have Adobe Reader installed, because the warranty file is saved in PDF. However, before settling for reading this warranty file online, you have to prepare to do this for about several hours, because the documentation spreads on 247 pages.
The Apple Ipad (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
By reading the first lines in the warranty terms, you see that Apple guarantees the functioning of your product for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. Warranty is offered only for the product and accessories contained in the original packaging and refers to defects in materials and workmanship.
The Apple Ipad (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
Alright, we have learned what is included in the warranty and for how long Apple offers this protection, but we don't know yet what is not covered by this warranty. Apple says that it does not apply to any non-Apple branded hardware products or software, even if they may be sold or packaged along with an Apple product. Also, warranty does not work for cosmetic damages, consumable parts, unless their defects were due to a workmanship error or to a defect in materials, for damages generated by abuse or misuse, liquid contact problems, fires, earthquakes or other accidents.
Your responsibility is to protect your iPad against all the potential problems that were mentioned earlier and also to backup copies of the information contained on the Apple product you have. If unfortunately you will experience a problem with your iPad, and you will have to send the iPad to the factory for repair, find that during warranty service the contents stored on your iPad will be deleted and reformatted. So backup any data you have there before sending the iPad to the factory. This is available also if you go with the iPad in person to an authorized repair center in your neighborhood or region. This is the procedure and any Apple technician will follow it.
Apple Ipad Comparison
How does the Apple iPad 2 compare to other tablets? We all hear that this iPad 2 is the best tablet in the world, but we also hear many complaints regarding this product. So today, we have thought to present the iPad 2 gadget in comparison to other tablets. And we have selected the Motorola Xoom (the first generation), which obviously runs Android, the HP Touchpad that runs the webOS and the first generation iPad, to see how the Apple device evolved in 2011 from 2010, when first iPad was released.
Apple Ipad Comparison (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
By making a price comparison, we see the HP Touchpad is the cheapest product, $99, because HP has announced in 2011 that they will discontinue operations for webOS devices. That was also the moment when HP has dropped the price of the HP Touchpad tablets to no more than just a bargain. The iPad is cheap too, only that not that cheap ($399; although you can find it for lower prices, as well). This happens probably because now we have the iPad 2 on the market and every time Apple releases a new device included in a specific category, products released earlier and included in the same category automatically become cheaper. The iPad 2, on the other hand, starts from $499. The Motorola Xoom, which was released on February 24, 2011, is sold for $499.
Apple Ipad Comparison (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
The screen size of the iPad 2 is the same as the one of the first generation iPad: 9.7 inches. Because of that, the display resolution is the same too: 1024 x 768 pixels. This is the resolution provided by the 9.7 inch screen of the HP Touchpad as well. Because the Motorola Zone has a larger screen (10.1 inches), it is capable of offering a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Apple Ipad Comparison (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
At the Memory chapter, the iPad released in 2010 used to have 256 MB; the iPad 2 uses 512 MB, twice as much. Having this in mind, we expect to see the iPad 3 using 1 GB of RAM. This is a disadvantage for the iPad 2, because the Motorola Xoom and the HP Touchpad already use 1 GB of RAM.
Apple Ipad Comparison (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
The processor used in the iPad 2 is the 1 GHz Apple A5 dual core processor. For the first generation iPad, Apple has used the 1 GHz Apple A4 chip. By maintaining the same principle, we expect the A6 chip integrated in the iPad 3. Unfortunately for the iPad, the Touchpad uses a more powerful processor (1.2 GHz), developed by Snapdragon. The Xoom uses a 1 GHz dual core processor, manufactured by Nvidia.
At the beginning, meaning in 2010, Apple did not use cameras for their tablets, but in 2011, they have reconsidered this and integrated front and rear VGA cameras with video recording of up to 30 frames per second. The Motorola gadget uses a 5.0 MP rear facing camera and a 2.0 MP front camera and the HP Touchpad, only one camera, on the front, having 1.2 MP.
Apple Ipad Information
Do you know what you will do on March 7, 2012? Because Apple knows very well. They have set a media event for 10 AM PT, March 7.
According to MacWorld.com, the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, location where everybody expects Apple to release their new tablet. This is not a new place for Apple; they have hosted many other events there in the past few years. In fact, this is the place where Apple has unveiled the first generation iPad in 2010 and the iPad 2 in 2011.
Apple Ipad Information (Source: ecx.images-amazon.com)
We don't know exactly what are the components integrated in this new device or if Apple will launch their new tablet in March 2012, but we definitely hope that the iPad will receive a retina display and also the new processor, which is so rumored to be integrated in this new product, the A6 chip. If these are the most important hardware information related to the iPad 3, Siri stands out at the Software chapter. This is a technology recently introduced to iPhone 4S users, technology that allows them to communicate easier with their device, simply by using their voice. This makes Siri a good candidate for an iPad 3 component. This will make the device better because of the inclusion of the Apple’s Virtual Assistant; these days, the only device that uses this Virtual Assistant is the iPhone 4S.
Apple Ipad Information (Source: 4.bp.blogspot.com)
In terms of communications and networks, the iPad 3 is said to use the new 4G LTE standards. Again, this is just a rumor.
Several updates related to this news speak about the same price the iPad 3 will have. This means the 16 GB version will cost $499, if we believe the rumors. In this case, probably the iPad 2 will be down to say, $399 or even cheaper. If you know other rumors related to this gadget or the Apple event that will take place next week, please share them with us.
